At Housemates, we believe that booking student accommodation should be hassle-free and that one property type certainly doesnt work for all.

Thats why weve created a streamlined experience that saves everyone money, time and headaches.

FOR STUDENTS:
We offer a range of accommodation types allowing you to browse through houses (houseshares), apartments, apart-hotels, private student halls and hotels.

How does it work?
1) Find a property you like
2) Select dates you want to move in and out
3) Speak directly with the property owner to book & discuss terms
4) Once youve agreed on the terms, then its time to transfer your payment via our secure escrow system

Note - If youre dealing with a private landlord or private student hall, you will need to sign a tenancy agreement.

FOR LANDLORDS AND PRIVATE STUDENT HALLS:
At Housemates, our teams families consist of landlords, allowing us to understand the pain points from having numerous agents involved and the unwanted fees.

You can sign up, become verified and list your properties for free. We dont believe in listing fees or subscriptions, meaning we only make money when you do too.

Our booking messenger allows you to receive offers, send tenancy agreements and receive deposits.

Fees: We charge a 20% service fee on the students deposit (typically the first months rent)

FOR HOTELS AND APARTHOTELS:
Were aware that most hotel platforms have boundaries at the 30-day stay, but with us, students can book for a semester to a whole academic year.

How does it work?
You can sign up, become verified and list your rooms and apartments for free.

Fees: We charge a 20% service fee on the total amount of student booking.
